The “Powers That Be” step in and grant powers to the first ever Male Slayer. Filming is to begin early 2007 with the movie being released Fall of 2007."

That is so stupid, I hate the idea. The whole reason "BUFFY" was such a popular show is because it showed girlpower. There are tons and tons of male superheros already out there. Making a male slayer is the same as having Van Helsing or Blade be on Buffy. I hate this idea, if they are spending money to make a good fanfilm, then follow Joss’s ideas. Not some lame "male slayer" one.

If anyone knows who these people are I’d really like to know because it sounds exactly like part of a script for a fan film I posted awhile back on another Buffy site.
