From Cityofangel.com David FuryA Lost Message From David Fury To His Angel FansThursday 30 September 2004, by Webmaster The premiere of ABC’s LOST was not deserted when 18.7 million viewers tuned in to watch the 48-remaining passengers survive their first night on a mysterious island in the south pacific. Coming from the imagination of J.J. Abrams (Alias) and Damon Lindelof (Crossing Jordan) the drama scored a 6.8 rating with adults 18-49 becoming the largest premiere draw since Murder One back in 1995. "We were blown away by the numbers," co-producer David Fury told CoA, "even after ABC’s excellent promotions." Fury also had a little something, something to add for his fans, "As for my Angel fans (do I still have Angel fans?), all I can say is... Where’ve you guys been?! You don’t call, you don’t write..." he joked. "What, you can’t pick up a phone and call your Uncle Fury once in a while, just so’s I know you’re all alive and well?!" But on a more serious note he said, "Hope some of you got the chance to see Part 1 of LOST (the pilot). And I hope some of those that did, liked it." Fury will be penning a few episodes this season as well. "My first episode airs October 13. A little thing I call "Walkabout," featuring the brilliant Terry O’Quinn. I’ve just finished my second ep. - "Solitary" which will air Nov. 17th featuring the charismatic Naveen Andrews. Once you’ve seen these episodes, I’m sure you’ll agree... Steve DeKnight was carrying me all those years," he laughed. Be sure to drop by the LOST Message Board on the ABC site and let David know you still love him and what you think of the new series! 3 Forum messages |
