It’s a fitting end, as Nerf Herder provided the first notes heard on the show each night, as it provided Buffy the Vampire Slayer with its theme song.

It’s been reported by Aversion.com that the alt rock band Nerf Herder will be playing on the series finale of UPN’s Buffy The Vampire Slayer. It comes as no surprise that the band will be returning, seeing as they are the band that recorded the now legendary Buffy theme song, which has played during the opening credits for nearly every episode since the first season.
