Hollywood star Ben Affleck has turned down a cameo role in Jennifer Garner’s Daredevil spin-off.

Affleck - who is taking a sabbatical break from his acting career - has twice rejected offers to reprise his role as the blind superhero Daredevil in Elektra.

A source says, "Affleck has been scrapped. He turned them down flat - twice. But he also spoke to Jennifer in person to apologise. She’s fine with it and understands."
