According to E ! News, Alyson Hannigan had planned to marry Alexis, her boyfriend of several years, this weekend.

If this news is in fact valid, it would help to explain Alexis’ absence during the live report from the ’Angel’ set earlier this week.

We would like to remind everyone that we cannot completely confirm this news as of yet, but it seems very probable that the wedding plans being mentioned above are more than just a rumour.

Well the first details of the wedding of the year come out slowly. Although Aly and Alexis wanted only a private ceremony they have invited one star of "Buffy".

According to David Mello over at the Succubus Club, Nicholas Brendon was present at Aly and Alexis’ weekend wedding.

The news came straight from Nicks brother, Kelly Donavan, at the BuffyFest in San Diego last weekend.

This proves that Aly and Nick became good friends on "Buffy" and where not only connected to each other due to their job.
