He sets up a date, but Lily calls needing him to fix a flat — and she’s a $90 cab ride away. Lily was on her way to an art program interview. Ted confronts her and asks if she’s having second thoughts about getting married.

Ted gets back into town courtesy a ride from Robin, and just in time to still make his date. But he’s still pining for Robin — and skips out on the date.
