The three join "House" star and nominee Hugh Laurie, soon-to-be president Geena Davis and Chris O’Donnell as the latest additions to the roster of presenters at the 57th annual awards, set for Sunday, Sept. 18 on CBS. Ellen DeGeneres is hosting the show. The Academy of Television Arts and Sciences also says it will pay tribute to victims of Hurricane Katrina by having presenters and performers wear magnolias, the state flower of both Louisiana and Mississippi. Information on donating to relief efforts will be provided throughout the broadcast. Click Here Braff earned his first Emmy nomination this year for outstanding lead actor in a comedy for "Scrubs." It’s also his first time as a presenter at the awards. In fact, all six of the latest presenters will be making their on-stage Emmy debuts. Laurie, who’s up for best actor in a drama series, is the only other nominee among the group. Grenier is the first representative of an HBO series among the presenters, while Davis (ABC’s "Commander in Chief"), Hannigan (CBS’ "How I Met Your Mother") and O’Donnell (FOX’s "Head Cases") all star in new series this season. |
