I was perusing my local Sunday paper when the USA Weekend insert popped out. To my surprise I saw the smiling face of How I Met Your Mother star Alyson Hanningan on the cover. Yet, this wasn’t an interview about her role on the hit CBS show, or her previous role in Buffy the Vampire Slayer. No, this was about Alyson’s search for the hottest fashion trends of spring.

What?

It turns out that Alyson loves to wear clothes from designers like Marc Jacobs and Chloe’, but she’s not against shopping the racks at Target for a good deal. In the article, Hanningan shops for three outfits that Lily, her character on the show, could wear. Later in the article, she hunts for vampires underneath the local high school.

Gosh, some habits never die (just the vampires do).
