Alyson Hannigan told the Australian news.com.au that her moods on the set of her old “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” and her new “That’s How I Met Your Mother” have been completely different. The old show, despite being a cult hit, was always on the verge of being moved or canceled.

Her experience on this show has been peaceful by comparison but as the first season of “Mother” wound down, she thought “there’s not enough drama. We’re not going to get picked up. Somebody’s got to throw a tantrum or something’” she said.

The show is now into its second season, and the first season DVD comes out Tuesday.
