’Loggerheads’ top U.S. film at Outfest

LOS ANGELES (Hollywood Reporter) - Tim Kirkman’s "Loggerheads," a drama starring Kip Pardue, Tess Harper and Bonnie Hunt in three interlocking stories, was named top American feature at Outfest 2005, the gay and film festival that wrapped in Los Angeles Sunday.

The other Grand Jury Award winners were Anahi Berneri’s "A Year Without Love" (Un ano sin amor), for international narrative feature; Susan Kaplan’s "Three of Hearts: A Postmodern Family," for documentary feature; Darian Sills, "The Reception," for actor in a feature film; Amber Benson, "Race You to the Bottom," for actress in a feature film; Georgia Lee, "Red Doors," for screenwriting.
