Mike Russell brings Ryan McCluskey in once again to tell tales of life in the Hollywood machine, be it here in PDX, making out with Amy Acker on the set of Grimm, or in far flung Bulgaria, suffering some severe awkwardness on set with Morgan Freeman and John Cusack. Somehow, inbetween those two locations, we get caught working out with Mike Russell, discovering the origin of The Burpie, going back in time to Fatboy’s days as an unrepentant firestarter on the internet – and how repentant he is now for all those messes he made, detouring to the tropics and discovering why Steely Dan should be renamed Sleazy Dan, revising dueling rules to replace glove-slaps with vaguetweets, and shamefully standing in line one more time for Star Wars, even though we should know better by now. And by we, I mean Mike Russell. Who, by the way, maybe gets to reviewing some movies today. Or maybe he doesn’t. Listen and find out.
