On the WB, Smallville opened with a fifth place 5.1/ 8 at 8 p.m., 46 percent above UPN’s Enterprise (#6: 3.5/ 5), while Angel at 9 p.m. (3.8/ 5) bested a repeat of UPN’s America’s Next Top Model (#6: 2.9/ 4) by 31 percent.
