Angel

While rabid fans of Buffy the Vampire Slayer probably already owned each season of the series, when presented with the option of buying the complete series set they had to bite the bullet on Season 7.

Granted, it had a couple of good episodes and then a great finale, but it’s a sour note in an otherwise great series. The Buffy spin-off, Angel doesn’t have a bad season.

The show also had one of the best series finales of all time, and it’s the promise of that thrillingly satisfying conclusion that’s like an oh-so-tasty carrot as you work your way through each episode.

There are some real classics here, from the unusually strong pilot, the terrific Buffy crossover episodes, and on through the 5th season’s "You’re Welcome" and "Smile Time."

While there are no new extras on the set (unless you count a letter from Joss Whedon, which we don’t…sorry Joss), you do get the extras that were assembled for previous releases. If you want the complete Angel (and you probably do even if you don’t know it yet) this is the way to get it.
