PETPLAN LAUNCHES CELEBRITY CALENDAR Featuring photographs by Lord Lichfield Petplan, the UK’s largest pet insurance provider, is to launch a star studded calendar with all photography taken by celebrity photographer Lord Lichfield. Entitled, ’Mane Men’, it features images of 12 horse-loving male celebrities, including: Anthony Head and his horse, Otto, with whom he famously starred in Buffy the Vampire Slayer; ex-Spandau Ballet front man, Tony Hadley and TV presenter Ben Fogle who is best known for his appearance on Castaway. All profits from the sales of the calendar will be donated to Riding for the Disabled. The amazing photographs portray all the celebrities either at home, down on the farm or in the company of their trusty steed, with many of the portraits set against stunning backgrounds. During shooting, Lord Lichfield travelled the length and breadth of the country, ensuring he got the best possible shot every time. The shots reflect the stars’ lives and loves: representing the month of November, Tony Hadley epitomises Gene Kelly in that famous scene from Singing in the Rain, while John McCririck adds a touch of humour to the calendar with his antics caught on camera at Sandown Park and William Fox-Pitt is snapped just before competing at the Windsor International Horse Trials, within the panoramic setting of the Great Park. About Lord Lichfield Lord Lichfield is a world renowned photographer with over 40 year’s experience of shooting celebrities and portraits of the royal family. He commented: "Being asked to contribute to such a worthy project is a great honour for me. The work carried out by the RDA is hugely important and benefits so many people in a number of different ways. I’ve had enormous fun and wish it every success."
