25 - Buffy The Vampire Slayer (1997+) The show that proved chicks can kick ass too, Buffy provided a post-feminist role model for millions of girls as posters of star Sarah Michelle Gellar graced the walls of teenage boys’ bedrooms the whole world over. Pretty and blonde, Buffy Summers karate chopped and high kicked her way through the vampires, demons and other undesirables in the Hellmouth town of Sunnydale. Of the many classic episodes, many consider the ultimate Buffy episode to be Hush, in which bald, pale figures called The Gentlemen steal the voices of the people of Sunnydale and return to cut out their hearts. What do you do if nobody can hear you scream ?
