Buffy The Vampire Slayer

The phone rings early in Act 2. Willow it tending to a nasty gash on Dawn’s forehead when Andrew goes to answer the phone. Andrew re-enters, telling Willow that she has a phone call from L.A., from somebody named "Fred." "Guy sounds kinda effeminate."

Later in Act 2, we see Willow standing on the basement stairs, talking to Buffy who is in the basement with Giles, Wood and Spike. Willow tells Buffy that she just got a phone call, and needs to go away for maybe a day or two. Buffy asks if anythings wrong, but Willow tells her that it’s nothing she needs to worry about, assurring her she’ll give her "the full scoop later," and that hopefully, she’d bring back some good news. Buffy looks at Willow, looks at Spike..."Just hurry back." Willow heads off upstairs.
