I download them, and then they’re Torrent Files!!!
I know how to get onto downloading Bit Torrent, but it never works for me! Grrr!

download the file you want, its a zip file. Open the zip file and start the torrent. If you don’t have bit torrent installed go to this website and go to the download page:
http://bitconjurer.org/BitTorrent/
After that’s installed, go back to the zip folder and start the torrent again. It should be pretty simple from there. A new window should appear that shows your progress. It may take a while. I’m doing season 1 buffy, and I’ve got over 100 hours to go.

Has anyone completed a season download? I am working on the first season and I cannot watch any of the episodes that have finished. I have a ton of codecs installed so I am confident that I should be able to watch them. Does the entire download need to finish before I can watch any of the episodes? Anyone have any helpful info?

You do have to download the entire file before being able to play an episode. I finished Season 1 and it probably took me about 5 days. Its a huge file just for season 1, about 4.6 gigs. Season 2 will be about twice that size due to the fact that there are more episodes. The files are terrific quality. I did have to download the latest codec from the divx website, but its free, so no prob there. I guess if I want the other seasons, I’ll have to get another hard drive!

Thanks for the info subrosa. My first season of Angel finished so I thought I would post this info. The episodes are great quality, they are 640 x 464 (fullscreen), have Lame MP3 audio, and are DivX video with 23 fps. Each episode is about 393 MB making the entire season about 8.45 GB. Hope the info is useful. Anybody know if that info is the same for all the seasons?

You DON’T have to finish whole download to watch. If you are using BitTornado: Go to details, right click the episodes you want to watch first and mark "download first" and then click "finish allocation" (warning: finish allocation allocates the required 8 GB disk space in advance). Then, check detail page frequently. When you see the word "done" beneath an episode, you can watch it...

Thanks for the suggestion on Bit Tornado. I’ll look into it.
As for the torrents being down, some of them are down for whatever reason, and the person running the site has posted that they’re trying to get them back up. Just be patient and check back to that page often to see if they’re are updates.

Since its a torrent you can download VLC Media Player to view the files. It’s kinda like AVI Preview for Kazaa, but better in my opinion. It’s also open source for developers :)

I would suggest the Azureus BitTorrent client, especially for large files like these. Get it at http://azureus.sf.net. The original BitTorrent client has many memory leaks, especially with large files, does not have as good an interface and can only download one file per running copy of the program Azureus fixes all those problems and more, and is available for any system (linux, windows, mac, etc.).
Also, make sure you forward the port that Azureus (or Mainline BT) uses so that people can connect to you, it will make you download much faster.

Hey - I recently had a hacker in my computer, I was able to restore most of my stuff with the exception of some episodes of Angel season four - I’ve been trying to download them again, but it won’t connect to the peers - is there anyone out there who has them and is willing to burn them onto a dvd for me (as data, not as a movie) - I am willing to pay for the dvd, the shipping and your troubles. - Please let me know at vezeme@msn.com (give the email a title like Angel season 4) and I will let you know which episodes I actually need.

Lokitorrent Page and tracker was closed. It’s an American Page and they closed cause they said it was illegal. That’s why doesn’t work the link(s)... Bad Luck!

the loki tracker is down and the backup trackers are enabled according to isohunt. Is there a way to use the backup tracker instead of Loki so I could resume my downloads? Thanks

If you redownload the torrent from Isohunt it should automatically use backup trackers. But not all seasons are there:-( Anyone found 4th season?

you can add trackers to our download and remove the lokitorrent tracker within your bittorrent dl program (or at least in g3, azureus, and bitcomet which ive used) and for the few who are confused by the files.. at that website the article links to u would extract the zip file than open the .torrent file in a bittorrent downloading program but those torrents on that posted website no longer work.. try isohunt.com and search for buffy

Its my honest opinion that you’d all be better off buying the Dvds Angel 5th season..It would be quicker....Ive tried to download from this link..it has never worked for me either...so in the end I just bought them....and you get a way better quality..than if you downloaded the episodes.
