February 9th, 2005 - One of the main contributing writers of well-known online toy site http://www.aftimes.com, Eric Frank (aka Toygodd), paid a special visit to the Sideshow Collectibles office today to present two awards for 2005!

Last month, aftimes.com announced the winners of their awaited Best of 2004 feature article, and within it, Sideshow Weta Collectibles was awarded top honors for Best Male Statue (more than 9") with our Lord of the Rings - Morgul Lord Statue and Sideshow Collectibles for Best Female Figure (more than 9") with the fan-favorite Buffy the Vampire Slayer - Buffy Summers 12" figure!

Sideshow Team Accepts the Awards

Sideshow’s Development Team Accepts the Awards During Eric’s visit, the Sideshow Creative team was presented with custom-made, framed awards for both categories and partook in a few photographs for their website and for our newsletter. We are honored to be presented with these two prestigious awards and wish to thank all of the fans that voted at aftimes.com.
