BUFFY THE VAMPIRE SLAYER (1992)

Everyone loves the Joss Whedon TV show, but the movie (featuring an adorable Luke Perry) has its own awesomely cheestastic qualities. Watch it if only for the so-bad-it’s-just-actually-bad dialogue. Case in point: When Buffy (Kristy Swanson) first meets her future mentor Merrick (Donald Sutherland) — he interrupts as she and her bevy of dense girlfriends pile into an elevator at the mall after a day of shopping — we get this undeniably quotable exchange:

Buffy: ’’Excuse much! Rude or anything?’’
Hilary: ’’Nice ensemble.’’
Nicole: ’’What a homeless!’’

Now that is quality writing, folks.
