Buffy The Vampire Slayer

In Prophecy Girl, the first season finale, the young Slayer played by Sarah Michelle Gellar confronts her own mortality. Buffy tries to prevent vampire the Master from rising to power but their confrontation ends with her drowning. Angel (David Boreanaz) pulls her lifeless body out of the water and Xander (Nicholas Brendon) performs CPR. His efforts pay off; Buffy opens her eyes wide and draws a breath.
