Buffy is about to get ‘Tooned Up’ by Electric Tiki!

In every generation, there is a chosen one. She alone will stand against the vampires, the demons, and the forces of darkness. She is the Slayer.

Electric Tiki, in association with 20th Century Fox Licensing & Merchandising, is pleased to announce the 10th show to join their “Tooned Up” Television series: Buffy the Vampire Slayer! Sideshow Collectibles is proud to partner with Electric Tiki to bring these original creations to the marketplace around the world. We’re very excited with this opportunity and believe that Electric Tiki’s fresh new takes on these beloved characters will add an awesome new dimension to Buffy collecting!

“I am a huge fan of Joss Whedon’s Buffy the Vampire Slayer and am excited to get the opportunity to re-interpret the Buffyverse in animated form,” says Electric Tiki founder, Tracy Mark Lee. “I’m also excited because it’s the most current show we’ve added to our ‘Tooned Up’ line. Buffy has a huge fan base and we hope they will be open to our unique take on these beloved characters. It will be a fun line.”

The original series will start in a few months with Buffy (of course!), but Electric Tiki is looking for character suggestions from the fans as well. One such possibility is to release a hero and a Big Bad at the same time. If this is not feasible, a singular release pattern will happen. Sideshow Exclusive editions are also a strong possibility. As with any collectible line, continuation and depth of the series will depend on fan support once the line is officially launched.
