More than 300 fans of Buffy the Vampire Slayer raised about $3,500 for charity in a singalong screening of the musical episode "Once More With Feeling" in Pasadena, Calif., on April 21, sponsored by the Whedonopolis.com and RememberAngel.com Web sites and celebrating the 10th anniversary of the show’s premiere on The WB. Proceeds from the sold-out screening of the musical ep and the "Smile Time" episode of the Buffy spinoff series Angel will go to the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation, organizers said. Guests included former Buffy co-executive producer David Fury, former Angel supervising producer Ben Edlund, actor James C. Leary (who played the demon "Clem") and creature performer Camden Toy. |
