Caroline Dhavernas plays ’Jaye’ on the quirky series that debuted March 12th in the Friday/9 PM timeslot. The Canadian-born actress yesterday sent a letter of appreciation to the show’s growing fanbase. "As you know, we inherited a very tricky time slot that doesn’t give us much of a chance to be noticed by a large crowd," Dhavernas writes. "However, our faithful viewers seem to be in love, like I am, with Wonderfalls, and understand how witty, different, intelligent, fun and absurd the lives of these characters are, thanks to our brilliant writers." Bryan Fuller, the mind behind VOYAGER scripts like "Living Witness" and "Bride of Chaotica!", co-created WONDERFALLS with Todd Holland and co-executive produces it with Holland and ANGEL producer Tim Minear. Fox announced earlier this week that the show would move to Thursday nights at 9 PM, making a suitable pair with the supernatural series TRU CALLING. "Well, hallelujah! What do you know, I guess our prayers were answered!" Dhavernas exclaims in her letter. "Thursday nights it is! Now, I know it’s Ladies Night in many bars, at least in Montreal, my hometown, but LADIES! Be fashionably late!!!" You can learn more about WONDERFALLS at the show’s official web site. |
