He mentioned that he and David B. are still friends. "He’s my best friend," he says. "We were friends two-and-a-half years before the show started, so I got to work with my best friend every day."

As for his new show, Close to Home, C.K. says: "The other stuff that I’ve done was fun. It was make-believe, but this actually, no pun intended, hits close to home with me. Someone asked a question earlier about are they going to go outside, how much of this is going to happen four blocks away? Listen, where I came from, this s—t happened four blocks away. You know, in Oklahoma, this stuff really went on. So, I relate to this stuff, so it means something, and I feel like I’m a part of something. And the rest of the time I feel like I should be handing out towels and Gatorade with the rest of these actors on the show!"
