Buffy The Vampire Slayer

Well, I went to Sunnydale Central 2 this weekend. It was a completely fantastic event. Harry, James and J. August were all very charming.

I was able to attend Harry and James’ Q&A sessions, but unfortunately not J. August’s.

Just some short comments:

1. Harry Groener is a very, very intelligent man with good insights into acting, history and life in general. He is also one of the funniest guys I’ve had the pleasure of meeting.

2. I nearly got a spit-take out of James C. Leary by asking, "What goes best with kittens: red or white wine?".

3. While I wasn’t able to see J. August’s Q&A, I was able to speak to him for a minute when I got his autograph. He is very funny himself. I got a trading card for him to sign. Gunn is in the corner, while Angel is in the background. I apologized for the smallness of the card and J. August gave me a big smile and said, "No problem. I’ll just sign on David’s big, fat forehead.".

On the fifth season, I said to J. August that I was very much looking forward to seeing what happened to Gunn next season, based on the finale.

All I was able to get out of him was a very smug smile and "Ohh..... It’ll be interesting."

(Sidenote: The man has the best smile)

So that’s my mini-report from Sunnydale Central 2. All guest were wonderful and I met some great new Buffy friends.
