Gellar thought she looked other-worldly on the May cover. Her lawyer, Marty Singer, told WWD: "It looks like an alien foot attached to her arm." Then Seventeen compounded its sins by sending Gellar, an animal-rights advocate, a $3,445 green ostrich-skin Prada bag. One insider snickered, "What they should have gotten was a Birkin bag" - which is even more expensive. "If you’re going to try to make up with her, at least make it the best."
