BONES (FOX) - Emily Deschanel ("Boogeyman") has scored the lead role in the drama pilot, about a team of forensic anthropologists who solve crimes using evidence supplied by skeletal remains. She’ll play Temperance Brennan, the leader of said team in the 20th Century Fox Television-based project. David Boreanaz and Michaela Conlin also star in the pilot, which comes from executive producers Barry Josephson and Hart Hanson and is based on the "Brennan" novels by Kathy Reichs.

How can such a brief discription sound ’horrible’lol.
I just want to see David on the telly, then I’ll make up my mind about the show.
It’s no use crying over spilt milk as they say.
I loved Angel and miss it terribly but like it or not I’ll have to move on.
If David believes in this project then who am I to say no. Go David Go, he’s yummy! And not a bad actor to boot.

The Tempe Brennan series of novels is great! Coolest thing about them is that they’re pretty autobiographical. Kathy Reichs is actually an F.A. for both Charlotte, NC and Montreal.
Hope David’s role is that of her on/off sweetheart Detective Ryan. He’d be great as sparkly-eyed ladies man.

I have read elsewhere that the show will be based on her cases and not her book characters, the show will track a Reichs-inspired character named Marjorie Miles, which makes more sense since the main character in her books, Temperance Brennan is a divorced woman with a college aged daughter. Emily Deschanel is too young to play Temperance. I am really excited about this show. I am a huge fan of Kathy Reichs and I am also happy to see David Boreanaz working again.

Oh yeah! I’ve been reading the Reichs books since I heard about the pilot. I really hope the show is based on the books. I read that DB will play a detective on it, and if that’s so, he will probably be Andrew Ryan. I love that character, he’s kind of a smart aleck who is always flirting with Brennan, the main character. And, of course, the character of Ryan is hot...

i agree with the one person who said you can’t judge it before you see it. watch it then form an opinion. i loved angel and i miss it alot so when i saw David Boreanaz i instantly wanted to see it. i love him and he is very yummy looking. he is also a very good actor so i am looking forward to seeing Bones.
