Long before Neil Patrick Harris, Lance Bass and T.R. Knight came out of the closet, there was Eric Millegan.

Millegan costars with David Boreanaz and Emily Deschanel in the Fox drama Bones. And he was openly gay way before snagging the role of Zack Addy, a brainiac assistant to a crime-solving anthropologist (Deschanel). He revealed his sexuality four years ago during publicity for his indie flick On_Line. "I was never closeted," Millegan tells me. "The Advocate interviewed me, and I just told the truth."
