Diamond Select Toys From Buffy with Comic-Con 2005

Full schedule and exclusive toys announced.

July 8, 2005 - Comic-Con is nothing without its sweet exclusives and Diamond Select is going all out for this year’s event. It begins with Wednesday’s preview night on July 13, with the Dark Phoenix and Cyclops Minimates set available for $9.00 and a Black Queen Bust retailing for $45.00 and limited to 1000 pieces. Buffy alum Julie Benz and Serenity star Adam Baldwin will make an appearance along with two exclusive toys — The Buffy the Vampire Slayer "Welcome to the Hellmouth" Vampire Darla and the Serenity Jayne Unpainted T1 Figure.

Additionally, Angel Wesley and Lorne figures plus the Deluxe Buffy and Faith assortment will be available for the first time. And Trek fans can get a hold of new DS9 figures at the Con as well. Art Asylum is offering up new Fantastic Four Minimates and Action Figure Xpress will have a Thanos/Silver Surver two-pack for sale at its booth.

Free blank Minimates with the SDCC logo will be given away each day of Comic-Con and a raffle will be held to give away one of only 50 Silver Spider-Man Minimates. And don’t forget that 500 T1 Spike figure for blood donors.

As if exclusive toys weren’t enough, Diamond also has a number of special guests. Here’s the rundown:

The San Diego Comic-Con gets underway with a preview night July 13 and continues through Sunday, July 17.
