How will Fox treat Dollhouse in Season 2 ?

While Fox is pretty much the worst network for letting a show grow and evolve, I have to give the execs props for telling reporters that they plan to leave Joss Whedon alone and let him do his own thing for Season 2 of Dollhouse. I saw the original pilot a couple of weeks ago, and lord, it was so much better than the stupid hostage negotiation plot we ended up with on the redone pilot. The show could have been good right from the start! But at least Season 2 is shaping up to be good - the unaired episode, "Epitaph" (which will appear on the Season 1 DVD), gave a hint to the much more complex and dark direction Dollhouse is taking. And I’m all for that. Also, more of Tahmoh Penikett naked.
