Yes, I’ve seen the “revamped” pilot for Joss Whedon series that’s coming in February.

Sadly, it just doesn’t work. I am a huge Buffy fan, and I really wanted to like this show. I also completely discounted the negative buzz, because the network hated Firefly too, and that turned out to be pretty damn good. But Eliza Dushku just isn’t the sort of actor who can pull off a character who assumes a different identity every week. My TV prognostications are notoriously unreliable, but I don’t see how this show can last.
