LOS ANGELES (Hollywood Reporter) - Eric Christian Olsen, who co-starred in last year’s comedy prequel "Dumb and Dumberer," has been tapped as the male lead opposite "American Pie" alumna Alyson Hannigan (news) in NBC’s untitled sibling comedy.

The project revolves around the relationship between a brother and sister who haven’t spoken in 18 months. In addition to playing Lloyd Christmas in "Dumb," Olsen also starred in "The Hot Chick" and the upcoming "Cellular."
