SPECIAL JOSS WHEDON SALE TO BENEFIT EQUALITY NOW

The upcoming Comic-Con weekend, Joss will take five winning bidders to a swank San Diego restaurant for drinks and dinner in a private room. Three hours of intimate conversation, hilarious anecdotes and dark, awkwardly personal secrets. (Not to mention a little swag.) It’s a fan experience like no other, to benefit Equality Now. Any subject you like is on the menu (not the actual menu; that’ll probably just have food). For three hours, Joss gets to be your biggest fan. Dark Horse Comics has generously provided the venue, and with help from MySpace, have set up this auction on eBay, run by Auction Cause. Equality Now fights gender-based injustice and ! atrocities worldwide. Dynamic Forces President Nick Barrucci is bidding on one of the auctions to help raise the money Mr. Whedon is hosting, and encourages all DF fans to bid against him (and all the other fans) to help raise as much money as possible!

As a special surprise, DF is proud to announce a sale on all Joss Whedon HCs and TPBs to benefit Equality Now. From now until the San Diego Comic Con, 100% of all proceeds from this sale will be donated to Equality Now. In addition to the Joss Whedon books, DF is also excited to announce that Brett Matthews will be signing the new Serenity HC (as an extra special surprise to help support the cause!). All net proceeds from sales of the Serenity HC will also be going to Equality Now.
