  I love Eliza, and Black Cat is a neat character, but having multiple ’villians’ could bring Spiderman down the the awful level of the last few BATMAN films. As for John Jameson bringing back something from space, as long as HE doesn’t become Venom, it would be a great way to introduce the Alien Costume. The all they’ll need is an Ediie Brock.. David Boreanaz would be great. I mean, ED and DB in the same film.. sexy.

  I Think Eliza would be great as a black cat...Shes got those eyes,and the sexy moves...cant imagine any one else to playing the part.

  I’ve gotta say I agree with some points of the above posts... Namely that the spiderman movies shouldn’t go for the multiple-villain angle after two brilliant movies. It’s pretty positive news that the black cat is being considered, but I think that throwing venom into the mix along with a resurrected goblin could be a bit much for a two hour movie.

  Hella rad. The Black Cat has always been my favourite Marvel girl. I really hope Eliza gets the role. She’d be great.

  I don’t really care who they get to play Black Cat as long as she makes an appearance in the movies, I could see this whole romance with Mary Jane get really stale so they are going to need either Black Cat or Gwen Stacy to come in and shake tht up.

  So far Raimi has been true to the mythology of Spider-Man which means that Venom won’t be in the third movie although his alter-ego Eddie Brock has been mentioned in the first two movies. Most likely they will follow the comic which has Spider-Man wearing the alien costume.

  Keep in mind that this next movie is only 3 of 6 in the Spider-Man movie franchise.
