Eliza Dushku

Variety reports that Eliza Dushku (Wrong Turn) and Mike Vogel (Texas Chainsaw Massacre) will star in Mamba, a horror film being produced by the Spanish Manufacturas Audiovisuales and Abra Productions companies. First-time director Alvaro de Arminan will direct from a script by Roderick and Bruce Taylor and co-producer Antonio Cuadri, with filming of the $6.4-million project beginning next Monday in Spain’s Basque Country.

The story concerns the titular supernatural board game, which is found by a group of young surfers; once they start playing, anyone who loses suffers a terrible death. The cast also includes Naike Rivelli, Gary Piquer, Alex O’Dogherty and Martxelo Rubio, with FX created by DDT Efectos Especiales (Pan’s Labyrinth).
