Valentine’s Day Gets Scrooged

Emma Caulfield (Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Beverly Hills 90210), Barbara Niven (Murder In My House, Cold Case) and John Reardon (The L Word, Tru Calling) are currently lensing the Insight Films/Ignite Entertainment’s new movie, Valentine Carol.

Directed by Mark Jean, Valentine Carol tells the story of Ally Sims (Caulfield), a controversial radio talk show host in the middle of making preparations of her Valentine’s Day wedding to her rich and successful fiancé. All is going as planned until she is visited by a ghost from her past. Like Ebenezer Scrooge before her, she witnesses key scenes from her past, present and future to learn important lessons about life and love.

Valentine Carol, which went to camera on November 9, with an anticipated wrap date in early December, marks the third movie Insight and Tim Johnson have jointly produced under the Ignite Entertainment banner. The movie is expected to air this February on Global.
