1. Seth Green was originally offered the part of Vincent Chase’s manager Eric on Entourage, but had to pass because of scheduling conflicts. The role eventually went to Nicky Hilton’s boyfriend Kevin Connolly. Green has guest-starred on the show, playing himself in two episodes.

2. Action man Jackie Chan has admitted he starred in a 1975 porn film in China before his acting career took off.

3. Ben Affleck recorded segments of tragic actor George Reeves talking onto his iPod so he could perfect the TV Superman’s voice in new film Hollywoodland. The role won Affleck a Best Actor prize at the Venice Film Festival.

4. The house that featured in the 1984 horror film A Nightmare on Elm Street is up for sale in Los Angeles. The four-bedroom, three-and-half-bathroom home is located on a leafy street in Hollywood and is on the market for $1,095,000.

5. Annette Bening gave Teri Hatcher her first acting lessons at the American Conservatory Theater.

6. Acting greats Meryl Streep and Vanessa Redgrave are making their new movie together a family affair—their daughters Mamie Gummer and Natasha Redgrave will join their mothers in the film, Evening.

7. Actress Linda Blair is set to come full circle in an upcoming episode of drama Supernatural when she plays a detective who arrests the series’ stars for conducting illegal exorcisms. Blair played Regan MacNeil in 1973 horror classic The Exorcist.

8. Scrubs star Zach Braff played Woody Allen’s son in the film Manhattan Murder Mystery.

9. The Lord of the Rings star Elijah Wood will launch his new record label with veteran alternative group The Apples in Stereo. The group’s new album, New Magnetic Wonder, will be the first release on the actor’s new label, Simian Records.

10. Actress Mia Kirshner’s French dreams have been realized thanks to her role as tragic movie star Elizabeth Short in The Black Dahlia—she has used her salary from the film noir piece to buy her first apartment in Paris.
