From Mercurynews.com Buffy The Vampire SlayerFate of shows prompts e-mailsSunday 6 April 2003, by Webmaster To paraphrase something from the Perry Como show: We get e-mails, stacks and stacks of e-mails. There has been a surge in the last few weeks, much of it related to the war and much of that related to Fox News. But there also has been a lot of e-mail about regular programming, especially the fate of certain shows as the TV season winds down to its end in May. These are some of the most frequently asked questions in recent days: • Speaking of ``Buffy,’’ how many episodes are left and how are they going to end it? ``Buffy’’ starts its series-ending five-episode story arc on April 15 (8 p.m., Ch. 44). The series will then skip a week before airing the final four episodes on April 29, May 6, May 13 and May 20. The story line involves a rumble with Caleb (Nathan Fillion of ``Firefly’’), an operative of The First. (Readers who haven’t followed the show shouldn’t even try.) And Buffy will have some help: Angel and Faith. I wouldn’t even want to speculate on how it all ends? |
