Post-production sound (ADR, foley, etc) for the pilot episode of Dollhouse, which was supposed to begin this week, has been pushed back ’til later in the month due to some reshoots that are being done right now. I’m told that the reshoots are at the behest of Fox, as the show just got back notes from the network who asked (told?) that certain parts be redone. Fox has made some awesome strides lately, but I suppose they wouldn’t be a network if they didn’t ask for reshoots.

UPDATE: patxshand makes a good point on Whedonesque: some of this may be additional footage to compensate for the show’s fewer commercials. And listen up negative nancies, a net asking for a couple reshoots isn’t the end of the world. This is business as usual.
