Firefly Prepares For Movie Takeoff March 23, 2004 - World Entertainment News Network Buffy the Vampire Slayer creator Joss Whedon’s axed sci-fi TV show Firefly is to return as a new movie. Bosses at Universal have given the project the go-ahead six months after the TV show ended on America’s FOX channel. The space movie, Serenity, will give Whedon the chance to conclude the project properly after fans of Firefly petitioned to get the show back on air. |
