The Collective are collectively taking a break from turning out tie-ins (The Da Vinci Code, Star Wars Episode III, Buffy) to get their teeth stuck into Harker - a survival horror romp with vampires.

Set in the 18th century, you play as Jonathan Harker, a ruthless sort out to destroy Dracula after a loved one - Mina - is killed by the fanged demons. The vampires will, we’re told, have shape-shifting abilities and individual skills.

"None of these vampires are going to die with one shot. They’re going to fight for their survival, which will give the player a huge level of satisfaction when they successfully execute one," said producer Nigel Cook.

It’s due in 2008, on all next-gen formats.

The Collective are also working away on a Dirty Harry game for Warner Bros Interactive Entertainment, which we don’t appear to have mentioned before now.
