To host a party in your area go to the JohnKerry.com website and register your party. Be sure to put "High Stakes" in the title of your party.

To find a party near you, go to the John Kerry website, enter your Zip Code, and look for parties with "High Stakes" in the title.

What: This is an official fundraiser for the Kerry/Edwards campaign. Minimum donation is $35.00. Hosts may choose higher minimum donations.

Well ok, please don’t go that far. You can sign up on the Kerry website to do a private party, only open to invited friends, or you can open up your party to any Whedon fans in your area, meet new people, and talk about exciting new aspects of the shows. Many parties are choosing to show select episodes from Buffy, Angel, and Firefly. Others are simply getting together to spend time with friends old and new. Parties can be as lavish or simple as you can afford, whether you choose to do a gathering, a shindig, or a hootenanny. We strongly encourage people to host a party. The more hosts we get, the more people will come, and all donations will be going directly to the Kerry campaign to help out in these crucial final weeks of the election. The Picky Details

Party hosts will be contacted with the dial-up number and time of the conference call when it is established. A speaker phone is required so everyone can hear the call.

Joss has agreed to answer questions, with a goal of answering one question from each party if possible. Continue to check here for details on how to submit questions.

Hosts should also sign in everyone at the party, and get either a copy of their donation receipt from the web, or collect donations at the party.

Remember, the minimum amount to attend is $35. Larger donations are encouraged. You may only accept checks or credit cards.
