This will be a returning to the convention in Melbourne for him. The convention is going to be July 2-3, 2005; tickets are onsale January 28th.

In addition to theMusic, it will be a fun-filled weekend of Buffy & Angel Convention enjoyment on - Saturday 2 and Sunday 3 July 2005 - more details of which will be announced in the next few weeks.

They are also planning an acoustical performance for James new album. This one night only performance in conjunction with the release of his new album in April; will be his only Australian performance for 2005.

I think it’s only the tickets to the acoustic performance which go on sale on the 28th Jan. The convention tickets are not on sale yet!

What a pity that this event is being held on the same weekend as another major Buffy/Angel event. Instead of Aussie fans have two great conventions to attend, they now have to choose between them, and as Slayercon tickets went on sale well before christmas, and Amy Acker has not visited our shores before, it could mean poor sales for JM.

I don’t think it is JM or his management, but rather the con organisers. There are times when conflicting dates can’t be helped, but it seems very deliberate in Australia, when we have so few conventions.

Also Tabula Rasa is now based in London from what I have heard, so why are they organising a Convention in Australia? There has been some very dirty tactics being bandied around by someone over here and I know its not Slayercon because they are the brunt of it.

Seems to me the ultimate losers in this kind of organising are the fans.

Anthony Stewart Head has been announced as well as David Fury. Tickets are $250 each day.
