Co-stars Lisa Kudrow, Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Gina Gershon, James Marsters and Kathy Bates. Robert’s Review "P.S. I Love You" is a very cute date movie. It’s got an interesting story about letting go and finding love again; a story of family and friends, and life plans. The cast did a great job and I really enjoyed watching them, although it was hard for me not to shout "FOR SPARTA!!!" every time I saw Gerard Butler… his role as Leonidas is forever engraved into my movie-soaked brain. Anyhow, that aside… I’d highly recommend "P.S. I Love You" to everyone. It’s a really unique, quirky and fun movie to watch. Overall Rating: 4 Love Notes (out of 5). Re-Watch Value: High Brett’s Review Why is it every holiday season there needs to be a romantic comedy? "P.S. I Love You" is a good idea, the premise behind it was creative, and however the movie was very painfully slow in parts. It didn’t really flow and it was like an old rusty car hard to start up and if you came to a stop it shuttered and almost died. I thought the acting was descent, and the plot was well received, I also think the ladies will really like it, so gentlemen if you want to show her that you really like her then take her to see this movie (and just suffer thru it). Overall Rating: 2.5 Letters (out of 5). Re-Watch Value: Low (for me), however some will really like to see it again. Trivia: (1) During the filming of a strip sequence, Gerard Butler’s suspenders hit Hilary Swank on the forehead. She received a cut and had to be brought to a hospital where she received several stitches. (2) According to the Christmas 2006 issue of People magazine, Jeffrey Dean Morgan had to learn to play the guitar for his part in this film in a very short time. His guitar instructor was Nancy Wilson of the band Heart. Morgan was thrilled to take lessons from her because, in his own words, "I had such a crush on her as a kid." Keywords |
