SELL-OUT SUCCESS FOR SOLO TOUR

The first solo tour by James Marsters is already a sell-out success more than a month before the first concert date.

Interest in the tour has been high and demand for tickets has been overwhelming. Every concert date is now sold out from London to Leeds.

James will be showcasing material from his first solo album, ’Civilized Man’, and kicks off the tour with a concert special at the legendary Cavern Club in Liverpool on Friday, April 22.

The Cavern began life as a jazz club and is famous for being the birthplace of the Beatles. They made almost 300 appearances at the club. It was rebuilt and reopened in 1984 and Paul McCartney performed his last gig of the century on the Cavern stage.

St Mary’s Guildhall, one of England’s finest mediaeval guildhalls, stands in Bayley Lane, near the ruins of Coventry Cathedral, and has stood at the heart of Coventry since the 1340s. The concert is being staged at the historic St James Church in London’s West End. The audience sit in old-style church pews with a choice of seats in the main hall or balcony. The aptly named St James Church is also part of London history. It was designed by Sir Christopher Wren and visionary artist and poet William Blake was christened there.

The historic venue has also played host in the past to concerts by REM and Patti Smith and offers an unique atmosphere and fitting end to the UK tour dates.

The church has easy access for people with physical disabilities, from both the Piccadilly and Jermyn Street entrances.
