St Mary’s Guildhall, one of England’s finest mediaeval guildhalls, stands in Bayley Lane, near the ruins of Coventry Cathedral, and has stood at the heart of Coventry since the 1340s. Mary Queen of Scots was imprisoned there in 1569, it has links with many kings and queens of England and Shakespeare is rumoured to have visited there. The launch special is open to all ages and the venue offers a bar and disabled access. Seating is unreserved. Further venue details and hotel information available from coventrymuseum.org.uk. Coventry can be reached by motorway, rail and by air from Birmingham International Airport and Coventry Airport.
