ASTONISHING X-MEN #12 GETS 2ND PRINTING/NEW CVR.

Marvel has announced the Diamond sell-out of Astonishing X-Men #12 and a new printing of the issue featuring a new cover by series’ artist John Cassaday.

The issue wraps up Cassaday and writer Joss Whedon’s first year-long stint on the title.

"It came as no surprise that Astonishing X-Men #12 sold out — Whedon and Cassaday’s amazing wrap-up to their first year delivered in full effect with a cliffhanger ending on the last page of #12 that has everyone dying for #13!" said series editor Mike Marts in a story on Diamond’s retailer website.

Diamond did not report when the second printing will be in stores, but it is apparently available for immediate order by retailers.
