Equality Onboard: ’Serenity’ Fans Unite for Benefit Screenings

This weekend ’Serenity’ fans in over 47 cities in the United States, Canada, England, Australia and New Zealand organized screenings of the film on creator Joss Whedon’s birthday (June 23rd) to raise nearly $50,000 for Whedon’s favorite charity Equality Now.
