THE PULSE: What other projects - in or out of comics - are you working on?

MATTHEWS: Joss Whedon and I are just starting up the second round of Serenity comics, a little thing we’re calling BETTER DAYS. Working with him is the best — you learn so much and it’s fun - and, occasionally, very, very humbling. The guy is such a genius, and that’s the least original thing I could ever say about him, because everyone does. So let me add that he’s just a hell of a good guy, too.

In movie world, I’m writing movies for Warner Brothers and Universal right now. They’re both original projects of mine, which is not uncool. Which is a double negative.
