Why Wash?

It wasn’t so much "Why Wash?" as it was "Why any character?" and the reason was that if one died, it made the rest of the story more compelling, because who might be next?

What is your favourite line?

"We’ll always have Paris." -or- I can’t quote it, but the line about not flying in anything with a , they fall right out.

If you got a chance to do another television series, would you take it?

The answer could have gone anywhere. He didn’t deny that he’d do a TV series if it was presented to him, but he was also clear that he’s not done telling the stories of our BDH. Movie? Series? Sounded like he’d take what came. (Update: Can’t believe I forgot this quote: "I’m still Serenity’s bitch.")

What was the pitch that you gave Universal that had the movie be made?

The DVD sales.

Who is Shepherd Book, really?

Good question. Man’s gotta have some secrets to work with.
